SECTION 3 <br /> POTENTIAL HAZARDS <br /> Z <br /> --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> Sanitation <br /> Potable Water <br /> An adequate supply of potable water shall be provided at the <br /> work site. <br /> Portable containers used to dispense drinking water shall be <br /> capable of being tightly closed, and equipped with a tap. <br /> Water shall not be dipped from the container. <br /> Containers used to distribute drinking water shall be clearly <br /> marked and not <br /> used for any other purpose. <br /> Single service cups (to be used but once) will be supplied; both a <br /> sanitary container for the unused cups and a receptacle for <br /> disposing of the used cups shall be provided. <br /> Non-potable Water <br /> Outlets for non-potable water shall be identified to clearly <br /> indicate that the water is unsafe and is not to be used for <br /> drinking, washing, or cooking <br /> purposes. <br /> There shall be no cross connection (open or potential) between <br /> potable and non-potable water systems. <br /> Non-potable and potable water outlets shall be physically <br /> separated so as to minimize confusion and possible cross <br /> contamination. <br />
