Distance to Navigable Waters and Adjoining Shorelines and Flow Paths
The Facility is located on relatively level terrain. Drainage generally flows towards the
center of the Facility. The nearest navigable water or adjoining shoreline is French Camp
Slough, located approximately one-mile northwest of the facility. Spill trajectories offsite
would travel through overflow of the onsite facility oilfwater separator (OWS). The spill
would be diverted to the subsurface stormwater conduit to a water basin north of Sperry
Road, 4,000 feet northwest of the facility. An east to west traversing and unnamed
tributary is located at the far north end of the water basin. The tributary does not flow
frequently but would most likely discharge into the French Camp Slough, one mile from
the basin in-flow pipe located on the north corner of the intersection of Sperry Road and
Performance Road. However, a facility spill with potential for offsite discharge is highly
unlikely due to facility contingencies as discussed in Section 4.0., including:
• Secondary containment provided for all fixed ASTs.
• Surface containment provided for tanker dischargers utilizing facility spill response
procedures.
• Safe Drains® installed on six (6) drain inlets located throughout the main area of
the facility.
• Oil Water Separator at the central west area of the Facility.
3.5.4. Discharge History
The Facility has not had any discharges since the last revision of this SPCCP. Table 4
summarizes the Facility's discharge history.
3.5.5. Material Stored at this Facility — 112.7(a)(3)(i)
Oil storage at the Facility consists of twelve (12) aboveground storage tanks (ASTs),
various 275-gallon rectangular polyethylene totes and various 55-gallon drums containing
petroleum products. Facility containers are summarized below and included in Table 3.
The approximate locations where oil is stored are illustrated in Figure 2.
Tank Type Capacity Contents Location Active
ID Gallons
1 VerticalSteel AST 10,000 HT/4 Fluid 30 Yes
UL142 AST Tank Farm —
2 VerticalSteel AST 10,000 SAE 15W-40 South of Warehouse Yes
(U L142 Building 1
3 VerticalSteel AST 10,000 SAE 15W-40 Yes
(U L142
