In the maintenance shop-Parts washer container with 30 gallons of solvents,four tubes of grease, one quart of <br /> power save degreaser,ten ounces of white lithium,four gallons of paint thinner, one quart of brake fluid, three quart <br /> of motor oil,three gallons of KD all purpose cleaners. <br /> 2). In the oil storage room-five gallons of phosphoric acid,ten gallons of paint,thirty gallons of roof coating, thirty <br /> gallons of hydraulic fluid. <br /> 3). Storage west of oil room-ninety-five gallons of paint and joint compounds,five gallons of Enerex 300 boiler <br /> water treatment, oily sludge in open container, one gallon of kerosene. <br /> Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately make a <br /> hazardous waste determination for the above listed chemicals , and manage it according the Title 22 hazardous <br /> waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> Submit all disposal records to the EHD within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 104 CCR 66262.34(d)(2)No modified contingency plan. <br /> An emergency coordinator and modified contingency plan information is lacking. There must be at least one <br /> emergency coordinator on site or on call to coordinate emergency response measures, and the following <br /> information must be posted by a phone: the name and phone number of the emergency coordinator; location of fire <br /> extinguishers, spill control equipment, and if present,fire alarm; and the phone number of the fire department, <br /> unless the facility has a direct alarm. Immediately appoint an emergency coordinator and post the required <br /> information by a phone. A form is provided that can be used for this purpose. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 105 CCR 66262.34(d)(2)No emergency coordinator. <br /> An emergency coordinator is lacking. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility <br /> of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or <br /> the environment.
