All hazardous <br /> waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. <br /> Since these containers have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste <br /> hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 704 CCR 66273.33(b) Failed to properly manage universal waste lamps. <br /> Universal waste lamp was found in the container next to the waste oil tank.Ten metal halide bulbs, and fifteen <br /> fluorescent tubes were found in the oil storage room. One tube was broken. Universal waste lamps shall be stored <br /> in a manner that prevents breakage and release to the environment. All broken universal waste lamps and releases <br /> shall be immediately cleaned and containerized. Immediately store all universal waste lamps in a manner that <br /> prevents breakage and release to the environment. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 712 CCR 66273.34 Failed to label universal waste to identify type of universal waste. <br /> Universal waste lamp was found in the container next to the waste oil tank.Ten metal halide bulbs, and fifteen <br /> fluorescent tubes were found in the oil storage room. One tube was broken. Bulbs and lamps were not stored in <br /> closed containers or labeled. Universal waste shall be marked with the words"Universal Waste"and the type of <br /> waste (batteries, mercury containing equipment, lamps, electronic devices, CRTs, CRT glass). Immediately label <br /> these wastes and ensure that all universal wastes are labeled with the required information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 713 CCR 66273.35 Stored UW onsite greater than one year or was unable to demonstrate the time UW has been <br /> stored. <br /> Universal waste lamp was found in the container next to the waste oil tank.Ten metal halide bulbs, and fifteen <br /> fluorescent tubes were found in the oil storage room. One tube was broken. Bulbs and lamps were not stored in <br /> closed containers or labeled. Universal waste may be accumulated for no longer than one year from the date the <br /> universal waste was generated. The universal waste handler shall be able to demonstrate the length of time that <br /> the universal waste has been accumulated.
