Thompson E <br /> Kayo Oil Company <br /> 900 South Cherokee Lane <br /> Lodi , CA 952+0 <br /> RE: Fast Gas Station <br /> 800 East Highway 12 <br /> Lodi , CA <br /> Status Report <br /> Dear Mr. Thompson: <br /> The following is a report of environmental ac tivities conducted by Fox <br /> Environmental Services, Inc. at: the Fast Gas Station located at 800 East <br /> Highway 12, in Lodi , CA, for the period of O tober 1 , 1986 to October 31 , <br /> 1986. <br /> Groundwater monitoring was conducted on Octo er 3, 1986 to determine the <br /> depth to groundwater and the presence and th ckness of any phased product. <br /> A chart of this data is attached, and 1 have included the two previous tables <br /> of monitor well data, for your :'comparison. <br /> E' <br /> Only monitor well # MW 10 has continued to contain phased product, and the <br /> product level is decreasing as ?the material moves toward the recovery well . <br /> The depth to groundwater measurements indica -e an increase in groundwater <br /> level , which is normal for this time of year , due to the reduced use of <br /> groundwater for agricultural purposes. <br /> The hydrocarbon recovery and groundwater res oration unit has been functioning <br /> well for this period and was shut down two h urs on October 6, 1986 for clean- <br /> ing. <br /> For the period of October 1 , 086 to October 31 , 1986, 22, 130 cu. ft. of water <br /> has passed through the system and that calculates out to 165,975 gallons . No <br /> appreciable product has been recovered during this reporting period. <br /> Larger, more efficient blowers, and a new spray head will be installed on the <br /> air stripping tower during the !,month of Nove ber 1986 to improve the efficiency <br /> and effectiveness of the unit. . <br /> Groundwater monitoring will be .continued on n monthly basis and the system <br /> will be checked bi -weekly unless otherwise advised. <br /> Very truly yours , <br /> XJamesl�R.�Fox <br /> Project Manager 4 <br /> I' <br /> JRF/wl <br /> Enclosure <br />
