Thompson <br /> Kayo Oil Company <br /> 900 South Cherokee Lane <br /> Lodi , CA 95240 <br /> R£: Fast Gas Station. <br /> 800 East Highway 12 <br /> Lodi , CA <br /> Status Report <br /> Dear Mr. Thompson : <br /> The following is a status report ofenviron ental activities for the period <br /> of October 31 , 1986 to December 3 ,1986, ca ducted by Fox Environmental <br /> Services , Inc. at the Fast Gas Station located at 800 East Highway 12 in <br /> Lodi , CA. <br /> Routine groundwater monitoring was conducteJ on November 16, 1986 to deter- <br /> mine. the depth to groundwater and the prese ce of a measurableor visible <br /> phased hydrocarbon. With the exception of W #10, which displayed a sheen <br /> on the water, all other monitor wells were free of detectable free product. <br /> There continues to be a seasonal rise in th2 groundwater, and for this re- <br /> porting period, the rise has been 1 .33 feet average. <br /> During the month of November, several improvements have been made to the <br /> air stripping tower. <br /> On November 13, 1986 the water meter, which had failed , was replaced with a <br /> new meter. On November 20, 21i, and 22, two larger, higher capacity blowers <br /> with 1/2 H. P. motors and 8 inch outlets wer also. installed. The spray <br /> nozzle maniforld assembly washreplaced with a new, higher flow unit . <br /> This tower was the first unit ;:!installed in the California series and the <br /> changes made were necessary to make the sys em more efficient and effective. <br /> For the period of October 31 , 1986 to Decem)er 3, 1986, 78,270 cu. ft. (587,025 <br /> gallons) of water have been treated through the. system and 48 gallons of fuel <br /> have been recovered. <br /> The new water meter reading for December 3, 1986 is 53,770 cu. feet. <br /> To date, 861 ,620 cu. feet (6,462 , 150 gallons) of water have been pumped through <br /> the system and 640 gallons oflifuei have been recovered . <br /> i' <br /> { <br />
