' f
. Mr. Ron Valinati
December 9, 1985
Page Two
1 . The "actual" laboratory results of the. water analysis
from MW#11 , rMW#12, MW#14 .and M1015 are enclosed as
Attachment A: There were no iridications .of soil con-
tamination in MW#14 and MW#15 until the unconfined
groundwater table was encountered, therefore, no soil
samples were forwarded for laboratory analysis. Also,
MW#11 , MW#12, MW#14 and MW#15 were installed prior to
the August 15, 1985 meeting.
I
2. The "actual" laboratory re5uln of the soil and water
analyses .from MW.#16, MW#17 and MW#18 are enclosed as
Attachment B.
3. A Facility Permit/Waste Discharge application was filed
with the Central Valley Region2l W.Q.C.B. on November 4,
1985. A copy of that application is enclosed as Attach-
ment C.
4. The "actual" analysis results from the separatoreffIuent,
the depression pump discharge, and the air stripping
tower discharge are included as Attachment D. The
volume of fuel recovered to date is approximately 25
gallons and the pumping rate of the groundwater depression
pump is 10,600 gpd (gallons per day) on the average with
a maximumpump capacity of 25,728 gpd. .
5. A plan to address the excess water effluent from the
recovery system is included in the Waste Discharge
application in Attachment C.
6. The "actual" water analysis results from the onsite
domestic well are included in Pttachment .D as water
faucet.
i
7. A draft copy of a well log. sea ch performed by I .T.
Corporation is provided along iAlth a well location
map in Attachment E. Mr. Eleu erio Franco, ' Jr. of
the San Joaquin County Flood Control & Water Conser-
vation District was contacted as you directed to deter-
mine the water gradient and the water table fluctuation
from the wells within a one 'mH a radius of the Fast Gas
station. Enclosed as Attachment F is a map of San
Joaquin County illustrating the unconf=ined and semi-
confined groundwater table elevations as of the fall
of 1984. According to the Lodi South Quadrangte' , for-
warded to your office on October 24, 1985, the station
is between 30 and 35 feet above sea level . Therefore,
the unconfined groundwater table is located between
40 and 45 feet below the surface of the station and
the direction.of flow is generally to the south. The
groundwater table encountered at the station is uncon-
fined and is influenced by the unsealed domestic and
irrigation wells near the site.
i
