10.All the employees involved in the clean-up will wear appropriate PPE <br /> according to the SDS of the material spilled. <br /> 11. Fire extinguisher will be brought to the scene if the material is <br /> combustible or flammable. <br /> Minor Spill (Spill less than 55 Gallons) <br /> 12.The spill will be picked up with by using shovels and squeegees and put <br /> into open top drum. <br /> 13. After the entire spill is picked up absorbent material will be used to pick <br /> up the remainder of the spill. <br /> 14.Drums of the waste from the spill will be labeled properly showing waste <br /> code, origination date and hazard class. <br /> 15.All the spill control equipment will be thoroughly cleaned after use. <br /> 16.All the material from the spill will be disposed of as hazardous waste. <br /> 17. Emergency Coordinator will determine if the personnel involved in <br /> dealing with the spill need medical attention. <br /> 18.The Emergency Coordinator will file a Spill Report. <br />
