05/12/95 15: 12 FAX 612 1870 XERXES CORP. 1.0002/002
)MF=S8
CORPORATION
May 12, 1995
James Cornell
Stockton Service Station Equipment
Fax: (209) 367-9330
Re: Flag City Installation
Lodi, CA
Dear Mr. Cornell:
This letter is in regards to the air pressure test on the interstitial space of your 12,000
gallon DWT-II tank.
Initially, the test results were inconclusive due to fluctuations and inconsistent loss
rates. This was more than likely caused by very little volume of air being used in the
test. At the time, the tanks were 98% full. The small amount of air that did get into the
interstitial space may have been significantly reduced by the cold temperature around it
(surrounding water).
When you used more volume (by reducing the primary to 8,000 gallons), the interstitial
space was able to accept more air; thereby making the system easier to monitor and
less likely to be effected by temperature changes.
The interstitial pressure test passed when this method was used, showing that the
system is tight.
If there are any questions, please contact me.
Yours truly,
Pnik
Servi e
tom/stockton.sam
'91 XERXFR AVFNI I,F--S01 ITA "INnlF+cni Ic A ..
