This was more than likely caused by very little volume of air being used in the <br /> test. At the time, the tanks were 98% full. The small amount of air that did get into the <br /> interstitial space may have been significantly reduced by the cold temperature around it <br /> (surrounding water). <br /> When you used more volume (by reducing the primary to 8,000 gallons), the interstitial <br /> space was able to accept more air; thereby making the system easier to monitor and <br /> less likely to be effected by temperature changes. <br /> The interstitial pressure test passed when this method was used, showing that the <br /> system is tight. <br /> If there are any questions, please contact me. <br /> Yours truly, <br /> Pnik <br /> Servi e <br /> tom/stockton.sam <br /> '91 XERXFR AVFNI I,F--S01 ITA "INnlF+cni Ic A .. <br />
