RECEIVED
FEB 17 2016
# 301; ENVIRONMENTAL
HEMTY R;:DI1pTkAFN1T
The Warehouse manager will initiate cleaning of the areas listed in this paragraph
with a steam cleaner and absorbents. All water created by the steam cleaner and
absorbent materials will be contained and placed in a steel drum and labeled
hazwast with a start date and will be shipped off site by our hazwaste contract
company within 90 days from start.
# 403;
A training class was held on 01-27-2016 to cover the SPCC and related topics for
all Warehouse workers. Labeling and storage were part of the discussion and all
warehouse workers were told to make sure that all containers containing Hazwast
are labeled as such and contain a start date and all listed information. They were
also told to makes sure all hazmat containers are closed after each addition and
kept that way until taken off site by a Hazmat hauler. We have also created a daily
log included with the tank readings which is done twice a day (morning and
evening), and a weekly log to supplement the monthly log.
# 605;
Employees were again trained on 01-27-2016 to remind them how to treat any oil
collected on site. The bucket found outside was emptied properly and the oily
absorbent pads were also placed in a proper storage drum and labeled properly
for pickup. The two 55 gallon drums of "purge" are new oil and are resold to
customers for different types of lubrication and are not considered hazardous
waste. The buckets in the filling area have been disposed of properly and one has
been labeled with a Purge sticker, empty daily.
