Aboveground Storage Tank Assessment QUALITY FLEET SERVICE CENTER VAN DE POL ENTERPRISES, INC. 4899 South Airport Way, Stockton, California 1.0. INTRODUCTION The purpose of this Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) Assessment is to assess the condition of the waste oil tank (AST) used at QUALITY FLEET SERVICE CENTER (Facility), located at 4899 South Airport Way, Stockton, California. Additionally, the assessment addresses compliance with AST requirements for use as a vessel for temporary storage and accumulation of the waste oil from Facilities commercial activity. 2.0. TANK ASSESSMENT The purpose of this Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) Assessment is to assess that the Facility meets the requirements for AST use for the purposes of temporary storing and temporary accumulation of the waste oil from commercial activity at the Facility. The Facility is located at 4895 South Airport Way, Stockton, California (37°53'48.4"N and -121°15'21 .7"W). Figure 1 depicts an AST schematic, including the top, front (east facing) and right (north facing) sides. The professional engineer AST assessment certification is included after the title page. Specific sections of the assessment are also certified in Table 1. 2.1 . ABOVEGROUND STORAGE TANK (AST) DESCRIPTION The waste oil AST is double walled, with the outer shell having a 110% containment capacity of the inner tank. The AST is located within the basement of commercial oil change services, which is constructed of monolith concrete. The AST description is included as Table 2. 2.1 .1 . AST Name and Markings The AST is identified by Facility personnel as the waste oil tank. There are labels clearly legible on the top, north and east sides of the AST, including: • Waste Oil; • Waste disposal collection; • Used oil (toxic); and • Underwriters Laboratory (UL) placard.
