According to Mr. Robinson, this is the waste oil that is collected from purging the lines when switching <br /> from one product to another. <br /> -Two 5 gallon buckets of used oil were observed in the tote filling area with no labeling. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties <br /> - physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> - accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for the 2014 and the first half of 2015 were not found on site. A copy <br /> of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading for <br /> used oil filters for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br /> -A 55 gallon black steel drum of used oil filters was observed with no lid and incorrectly labeled as "waste oil." <br /> -Used oil filters were observed accumulated in a draining device attached to a 55 gallon drum of used oil. Mr. <br /> Robinson could not indicate the amount of time the filters have been stored on the drain device. <br /> According to disposal records on site, used oil filters were last hauled away on July 7, 2015. Used oil filters shall be <br /> drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters," and marked <br /> with an accumulation start date.
