These conditions apply <br />only to generators sending upent fluorescent lubes to an <br />authorized recycler and not for spent tubes destined for <br />land disposal. The tubes must be intact, not crushed. <br />and preferably shipped in the conwiners in which the <br />new tamps came. The generator should contact the <br />recycicr for any further specific requirements, Ship- <br />ment, of spent MID lumps and PCB -containing ballasts <br />to an authorized tmtment. storage or disposal (TSD) <br />facility requires manifesting and transporting by a <br />registered hazardous waste hauler.
