This situation <br />is subject to change pending further technological <br />development or the establishment of permitted <br />facilities. <br />The Department's interim policy currently allows a <br />generator to dispose ay nonhazardous waste no more <br />than a combined total or 25 spent fluorescent light <br />tubes and HID lamps, reg2rdless of size, in a day. <br />Quantities greater than this, which are destined for <br />land dispersal, must be managed as a hazardous watite <br />L.and are subject to land disposal restrictions. The tubes must be intact. not crushed. <br />and preferably shipped in the containers in which the <br />new lamps carne.
