They are free flowing mixtures of powdered <br />and granular components. They are used as water solutions to control wildland fires. Grades D -75F <br />and D -75R contain pigments which give them a reddish color. Grade D -75W is uncolored. <br />As proprietary mixtures, PHOS-CHEK fire retardants have no CAS numbers. WEAR A NIOSH <br />APPROVED RESPIRATOR. <br />OCCUPATIONAL CONTROL PROCEDURES <br />Eye Protection: Wear chemical safety goggles to prevent eye contact. <br />Skin Protection: Wear protective gloves to minimize skin contact. <br />Respiratory <br />Protection: Use NIOSH approved respirator when airborne exposure is possible. Consult <br />respirator manufacturer to determine appropriate type equipment for given <br />application. <br />Ventilation: Provide ventilation to minimize exposure.
