Remediation Report - 152 East 11th Street, Tracy, California Page 21 <br /> Results of Sample Analyses <br /> Each sample of aerated soil submitted to the laboratory was analyzed for the following <br /> suite of analytes <br /> Analyte Method of Analysis <br /> Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons EPA Method 5030/8015 <br /> (as Gasoline) <br /> Benzene EPA Method 8020 <br /> Toluene EPA Method 8020 <br /> Ethyl Benzene EPA Method 8020 <br /> Total Xylene Isomers EPA Method 8020 <br /> The results of the analyses of the samples are presented in Table 3 and copies of the <br /> certificate of analysis and the associated chain of custody records are included in Appendix <br /> C <br /> There NA ere no detectable concentrations of components of gasoline in any of the samples <br /> recovered from the spread of treated soil <br /> DISPOSITION OF TREATED SOIL <br /> When the spread of treated soil had been sampled and the results of the sample analyses <br /> shoe ed it to be free of any detectable components of gasoline, the bulldozer was used to <br /> restore it to a stockpiled formation on the fallow ground where it had been treated It is <br /> available for recycling in beneficial use for general agricultural purposes, but it will not be <br /> remo-,ed from the farm property on which it is presently located <br /> CONFIRMATION SAMPLING OF TREATMENT AREA <br /> When the soil treatment operations were complete, to confirm that the fallow land in the <br /> treatment area had not been affected by components of gasoline, the area where the soil <br /> had been spread was sampled on August 23, 1996 <br /> In a manner similar to that used to confirm that the treated soil was free of contarrunation, <br /> randomly selected sampling locations were chosen within twelve of the cells that <br /> subdi-,ided the area over which the treated soil had been spread The cells that contained <br /> this second set of random sampling locations are identified on Figure 9 <br />
