Results of Groundwater Pumping Tests - 152 East 1 Ith Street, Tracy Page 3 structure Areas beneath the streets adjacent to the property have been extensively excavated and backfilled for installation of sewers and other utilities The depth to groundwater is in the range 7 to 9 ft and varies seasonally The general direction of the groundwater gradient is northwest across the 152 East 11th Street property but may vary seasonally The slope of the groundwater gradient is typically about 0 003 ft /ft PREVIOUS INVESTIGATIONS Monitoring Wells and Groundwater Sampling In March 1988, following a request from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board - Central Valley Region (CRWQCB), the Navarras arranged for WaterWork of Sacramento, California to perform a site investigation The investigation included installation of four groundwater monitoring wells These wells are shown on Figure 2 and are designated NAV 1 through NAV 4 In April 1988 WaterWork recovered samples from the wells The samples were analyzed for hydrocarbon fuel components The results of the investigation were reported to the CRWQCB Another round of groundwater sampling from wells NAV 1 through NAV 4 was performed in January 1983 by The San Joaquin Company Inc and the results reported to the SJCPHS In June 1993 The San Joaquin Company Inc installed four additional wells, designated NAV 5 through NAV 8, in the area around the 152 East 11th Street property These wells were installed according to the Workplan for Further Soil And Groundwater Assessment at 152 East I Ith Street. Tracy, Calif which was submitted to the SJCPHS on February 26th 1993 and was approved by that agency A report entitled Extended Investigation Groundwatcr Quality - Property at 152 East I Ith. _Street_ Tracy, California, that described the installation of these wells and included the results of analyses of soil samples recovered from the well borings and other data and analyses related to the extent to which the subsurface beneath and around the 152 East 11th Street property has been affected by releases of gasoline, was submitted to the SJCPHS on July 26th 1993 In July and October 1993, The San Joaquin Company Inc performed further rounds of groundwater sampling The scope and schedule of the these sampling rounds were compliant with the program established by the Qjoundwater Sampling Elan Property at - 152 East I Ith.
