Petroleum Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund <br /> As the present property owners, Mr and Mrs Albert Navarra and Mr and Mrs Carl <br /> Navarra (the Navarras) applied to the California State Water Resources Control Board <br /> (CSWRCB) under the Petroleum Underground Storage Tank CIeanup Fund for a grant to <br /> meet the cost of investigating and remediating the subject site On December 24th 1994, <br /> the CSWRC13 issued a Letter of Committment for Reimbursement of Costs to the <br /> Navarras <br /> During the reporting period, the Navarras' received payment against the second Standard <br /> Form Payment Request submitted under the grant program The amount received included <br /> payment or all outstanding sums related to eligible costs that were submitted with the first <br /> Standard Form Request, but regarding which CSWRCB staff had requested additional <br /> detailed information <br /> WORK IN PROGRESS <br /> The following work is in progress <br /> Groundwater Quality Monitoring <br /> A program of groundwater quality monitoring for the 152 East 11 th Street site has been <br /> • established according to the Groundwater Sampling_PIao - Property at 152 East 11th. <br /> Street, Tracy, California that has been approved by the SJCPHS That plan calls for a <br /> round of groundwater sampling from the monitoring wells installed for the 152. East 11th <br /> Street site to coincide with the end of the annual dry season in Northern California In past <br /> years, that sampling round has been scheduled for September However, since the onset of <br /> rain has been delayed this year, to investigate groundwater depths, gradients and <br /> contaminant concentrations when the groundwater elevation is at, or close to, its seasonal <br /> low, the dry-season sampling was deferred until November (i e beyond the reporting <br /> period which is the subject of this document) The sampling was performed on November <br /> 15th 1995 A groudwater-quality monitoring report with the results of that sampling is <br /> currently being prepared <br /> Corrective Action Plan <br /> As noted above, an amended Corrective Action Plan (CAP) for remediation of soil and <br /> groundwater at the site was submitted to SJCPHS prior to preparation of this status <br /> report Action to implement the remediation called for by the plan will be scheduled <br /> following a SJCPHS review of that submittal but, as noted below, the requisite building <br /> demolition has already been tentatively scheduled <br />
