A hazardous waste generator shall not treat,store, dispose of, <br /> transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without a hazardous waste ID number. Go to the DTSC web <br /> site http:/ANww.dtsc.ca.gov/IDManifest/PERMHWID.cfm for the form to reactivate the ID number. Immediately <br /> reactivate your state ID number and submit evidence to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> 117 HSC 25185(c)(3) Failed to submit a written response within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br /> An inspection was last done on 4/25/17 and an inspection report was issued identifying information to be submitted <br /> to bring this site into compliance. This information was required to be submitted by 5/25/17. This information was <br /> received on 5/30/18, over a year late resulting in a non-compliant status for this facility. An operator that receives an <br /> inspection report shall have 30 days to submit a written response that includes a statement documenting corrective <br /> actions taken or proposing corrective actions which will be taken. Ensure that a written response documenting <br /> corrective actions taken or proposed is submitted within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> Kitty litter was used to clean up diesel and gasoline spills and placed into an open 3 gallon white container, allowing <br /> vapors to release to the atmosphere. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, <br /> explosion,or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the <br /> environment. The operator placed the kitty litter into a green five gallon container that had a lid and closed the <br /> container while the inspector was on site. Ensure that the hazardous waste is manage according to Title 22 <br /> hazardous waste regulations. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> Kitty litter was used to clean up diesel and gasoline spills and placed into an open 3 gallon white container, allowing <br /> vapors to release to the atmosphere.All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding <br /> or removing waste.The operator placed the kitty litter into a green five gallon container that had a lid and closed the <br /> container while the inspector was on site.
