EXAMPLE
Label for "NON HAZARDOUS " Waste Containers
1. Not all wastes are Hazardous Wastes-There are many wastes that are truly wastes that are not Hazardous
to you or the environment. On the other hand, even Non-Hazardous Waste such as the Used Drawing Lube
that is used at Sumiden, can be a dust problem, which would require one to wear a particulate type dust
mask while dumping a hopper into a bulk drop box to avoid breathing any kind of dust or at times when
changing the lube in the Drawing Machine Die Boxes where the block cooling air may blow dust in the air
around the operator.
2. All Non-Hazardous Waste Containers such as the Hoppers in the Drawing Department that collects Used
Drawing Lube and Sweepings must be labeled with a Non-Hazardous Waste Label.Normally,a particular
operator is assigned to keep the hoppers emptied in a timely manner, and that operator should be
maintaining the Labels. The Plant Manager has the ultimate responsibility to make sure all labels are in
place.
GENERATOR I N FO q1 4 ArION QptmMdf
ShJRPPEFt
Sumiden Wire Products Corporation
ADDRESS
1412 EI Pinal Drive
CrN.
