Installatim of XW-1 <br /> Health and Safety Plan,AUGUST,1995 <br /> 0809H&S.DM <br /> Hazard: Particulate inhalation <br /> S3nnptoms of Exposure: Nose and throat irritation, congestion, coughing, shortness of <br /> breath, asphyxiation. <br /> First Aid: Remove person to fresh air. <br /> Hazard: Sun burn, eye burn <br /> S nnptoms of Exposure: Pain and discomfort of exposed area, eye irritation, leads to heat <br /> stress. <br /> First Aid: Remove person from sunlight, flush effected area with cool, clean water. If a <br /> minor skin burn, apply first aid cream. If severe, seek medical attention. <br /> In all on-site emergency situations, work shall not resume until: <br /> 1. The conditions resulting in the emergency have been corrected. <br /> 2. The hazards have been reassessed. <br /> 3. The Site Safety Plan has been reviewed. <br /> 4. Site personnel have been briefed on any changes to the Site Safety Plan. <br /> 5. The Site Safety Officer shall critique the emergency response and follow-up. <br /> EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE <br /> Ill the event of a major on-site medical emergency the Site Safety Officer shall call <br /> 911 for emergency medical services. <br /> In the event of a minor on-site injury or medical emergency, medical services are <br /> available at the Tracy Community Memorial Hospital. Located at 1420 N. Tracy <br /> Boulevard, Tracy, CA 95376.
