TRIPLE E PRODUCE -2- <br /> MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Apricot Orchard Spray Field <br /> The apricot orchard spray field monitoring shall include effluent samples collected from the <br /> discharge side of the air stripping column and prior to being pumped to the spray field. The apricot <br /> orchard spray field monitoring shall include at least the following: <br /> Constituents Units Tvue of Sample r n <br /> Flow gpd Cumulative monthly/quarterly) <br /> pH pH Units Grab weekly/monthlyl <br /> Specific Conductivity µ.mhos/cm Grab weekly/monthlyl <br /> Total Trihalomethanes µg/1 Grab weekly/monthlyl <br /> Total Dissolved Solids mg/1 Grab weekly/monthlyl <br /> Standard Minerals2 mg/1 Grab quarterly3 <br /> I Weekly sampling to be performed the first month ground water is pumped to the Apricot orchard spray <br /> field with the first weekly sample collected within the first two days after start-up,then monthly thereafter. <br /> 2 Standard minerals shall include all major cations and anions and include a verification that the analysis is <br /> complete(i.e.,cation/anion balance). <br /> 3 The first quarterly sample shall be collected during the first week of spray field application. <br /> GROUND WATER MONITORING <br /> Prior to construction,plans and specifications for ground water monitoring wells shall be <br /> submitted to Board staff for review and approval. <br /> Ground Water Monitoring For Plume Containment <br /> The ground water monitoring for plume containment shall include at least the following: <br /> ConstituentsUnits Tvoe of Sample Frequency <br /> Water Surface Elev. ft., MSL Grab weekly/quarterly) <br /> pH pH Units Grab weekly/quarterly) <br /> Specific Conductivity pmhos/cm Grab weekly/quarterly) <br /> Total Trihalomethanes µg/1 Grab weekly/quarterly) <br /> Total Dissolved Solids mg/l Grab weekly/quarterly) <br /> Standard Minerals2 mg/l Grab quarterly3 <br /> 1 Weekly sampling to be performed the first month ground water is pumped,with the first weekly sample <br /> collected prior to start-up,then quarterly thereafter- <br /> 2 Standard minerals shall include all major cations and anions and include a verification that the analysis is <br /> complete(i.e.,cation/anion balance). <br /> 3 The first quarterly sample shall be collected during the fust month of extraction wells)operation. <br /> REPORTING <br /> In reporting the monitoring data,the Discharger shall arrange the data in tabular form so that the <br /> date, the constituents, and the concentrations are readily discernible. The data shall be summarized <br /> in such a manner to illustrate clearly the compliance with waste discharge requirements. <br /> Monthly and quarterly monitoring reports shall be submitted to the Regional Board by the 20th day <br /> of the following month. <br />
