Mr. Tom Guido 1%01 - 2 - 1000 21 February 2002
5. As stated in Board staff's 7 August 2001 letter, Triple E must abandon monitoring wells
according to San Joaquin County requirements that are in areas susceptible to damage
from the new housing development construction activities. However, if abandoning is
required of wells MW-2 or MW-7, a replacement monitoring well must be installed once
the area is developed. Furthermore, groundwater samples need to be collected prior to
abandoning any site well.
Attached for your review and comment is a draft MRP.
