The sensor passed functionality testing during the monitoring certification. Monitoring equipment <br /> shall be maintained to be able to detect a leak at the earliest possible opportunity. The sensor was relocated upright <br /> to the lowest point of the sump by the service technician. Ensure that all monitoring equipment is maintained to <br /> detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 309 CCR 2636(f)(1) Monitoring in sump/ UDC failed to activate an audible and visual alarm or stop the flow product. <br /> The Bravo box float and chain in UDC 7/8 (north) and 5/6 (north) failed to stop the flow of product at the dispenser <br /> when tested. All monitoring equipment shall be maintained to activate an audible and visual alarm or stop the flow of <br /> product at the dispenser when it detects a leak. The service technician adjusted the chain(s) and verified functionality. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 315 HSC 25291(e) Water in secondary containment not removed, analyzed, and properly disposed of(pre-Jul 2003). <br /> Liquid was observed in the 91 STP sump. If water could enter into the secondary containment by precipitation or <br /> infiltration, it must be removed and disposed of properly. The service technician removed over 50 gallons <br /> (approximately 16 inches) of liquid from the 91 STP sump. Ensure that all sumps and annular spaces are maintained <br /> free of liquid. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by June 29, 2018. <br /> Please be aware that as of January 1, 2014, facility operators are required to upload the following UST program <br /> documents into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS): UST Monitoring Site Plan, UST <br /> Certification of Financial Responsibility, UST Response Plan, UST Letter from Chief Financial Officer (if <br /> applicable), and the Owner Statement of Designated Operator Compliance.
