244 Harding Way
In addition to the fieldwork listed above, EHD believes one grab groundwater sample
collected from a soil boring advanced in the landscape adjacent to the west side of the
driveway on Harding Way is needed to address chemicals`of concern (COC) identified in
a groundwater sample collected from borehole B5. Please amend the work plan to
include this borehole and submit the revised work plan to EHD by January 30, 2007.
In Quarterly Report— Third Quarter 2006, dated November 10, 2006, AGE recommends
reducing the sampling frequency from quarterly to semi-annually for groundwater
samples collected from MW-2 and MW-3. Instead, EHD'believes these two monitoring
wells may be sampled annually since,;COC have not been detected in groundwater
samples collected from these wells during the twelve previous sampling events.
However, continue collecting depth-to;water measurements -in all wells during future
quarterly groundwater monitoring events for the purpose of determining the groundwater
gradient.
Please contact Vicki McCartney at....
