The <br /> contaminant was diesel, and the level of contamination was 840 mg/kg, the sample <br /> depth was 1.5'. <br /> WHF has included copies of analytical data obtained by Younadahl and Associates, as <br /> wel'_as drilling logs, and boring locations in this Re-Excavation plan. <br /> 3.0 PROPOSED RE EXCAVATION <br /> The purpose of the excavations is to determine the extent of soils contamination in the <br /> areas pr•;iously investigated by Youngdahl and Associates. <br /> In the event that the excavation process does not define the vertical and lateral extent of <br /> contamination, then WHF will cease excavating, and submir.a.work-plan to the County <br /> for definition, using other means. <br /> The size of each excavation is expected to be no more than 20' x 20' by 15' deep. <br /> This would produce a combined total of 445 yards of soil from the two excavations. <br /> Contaminated soils will be stockpiled on site and covered with visqueen until an <br /> appropriate remediation scheme is determined. <br /> , <br />
