.�- 24 August 1995 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 95-0144 <br /> Page 5 of 8 <br /> 44 GEOPROBE SAMPLE RESULTS <br /> 4 4 1 UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK NO 1 <br /> u TPH-g, TPH-d, ethylbenzene and xylenes,were detected in sample GP5-15 at concentrations of 4,100 <br /> ppm,2,700 ppm, 2 4 ppm and 21 ppm, respectively Five volatile organic compounds (8240) and five <br /> ' semivolatile organic compounds (8270) were detected in sample GP5-15 Phenol was detected in <br /> eight of the nine samples analyzed from GP5 to GP8 at concentrations ranging from'0 25 ppm to 2 0 <br /> ppm However, the reporting limit for phenol was 400 times greater than normal in sample GP5-15 <br /> ' due to matrix interference Chromium, lead; nickel and zinc were detected at background <br /> concentrations in each sample from GP5 to GPS No other constituents were detected in the samples <br /> ' analyzed from GP5 to GP8 <br /> Organic vapors were detected in samples GP5-10, GP5-15 and GP5-20 at concentrations of 627 ppm, <br /> 732 ppm and 6 ppm, respectively Strong hydrocarbon odors were detected at depths of 10 and 15 <br /> ' feet Hydrocarbon odors were not detected at depths of 20 or 25 feet Organic vapors and <br /> hydrocarbon odors were not detected in any samples from probings GP6, GP7 or GP8 <br /> Chromium, nickel and zinc were detected in the ground water sample collected from probing GPS <br /> at concentrations of 0 054 ppm, 0 075 ppm and 0 10 ppm No other constituents were detected in <br /> ' the water sample collected from penetition GP5 <br /> 4 4 2 UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK NO 2 <br /> Phenol was detected in four of seven samples from probings GP9 to GP12 at concentrations up to <br /> 3 1 ppm Bis(2-ethylhexyl)Phthalate was detected in sample GP 10-20 at a concentration of 1 l ,ppm <br />?
