Proposal <br /> included (as Task I) initial groundwater sampling/monitoring <br /> to establish current groundwater status and to initiate <br /> interim free product removal if warranted. <br /> - Workplan proposal sent out to three bidders (Consulting <br /> Companies) . Bids to be returned by 4 February 1994. <br /> - Investigation/assessment is to include at minimum two <br /> additional monitoring wells and two soil borings with soil <br /> samples taken at least every five feet and at strata changes . <br /> - Received San Joaquin County PHS/EHD letter, dated 11 January <br /> 1994, requesting immediate groundwater monitoring and <br /> sampling. <br /> Currently: <br /> - Making arrangements to do groundwater monitoring and <br /> sampling of existing site monitoring wells . <br /> - Propose groundwater sampling to be done on 21 January 1994. <br /> Will contact SJC/PHS/EHD as soon as confirmed and at least <br /> 48 hours prior to sampling . <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Cris Hamilton <br />
