Therefore, the deadline for the submittal of <br /> a workplan to investigate the full extent of the soil and groundwater contamination is extended to March <br /> 14, 1994. <br /> However, current groundwater data is needed to determine the next phase of field work. Therefore, <br /> groundwater monitoring and sampling must be scheduled immediately so that the results can be used to <br /> prepare the workplan by the required date. <br /> Please provide PHS/EHD with 48 hours advance notice prior to initiating any sampling at the site. <br /> If you have any questions or wish to discuss this letter in more detail, please contact Linda Turkatte, <br /> Senior REHS, of my staff at (209) 468-3441. <br /> Ernest M.
