LLNL Emergency Management Plan <br /> Rev 24 <br /> January 2019 <br /> 2.3.2.2 Operations Section <br /> This section is managed by the Operations Chief. <br /> Positions reporting to the Operations Chief are the Security Lead, ES&H Lead, Facilities Lead, <br /> EOC On-Scene Communicator, Operations Chief Aide, and the Volunteer Emergency Radio <br /> Group (VERG) Specialist. In a disaster, the Fire Disaster Dispatcher reports to the Operations <br /> Chief. <br /> 2.3.2.3 Planning and Intelligence Section <br /> This section is managed by the P&I Chief. <br /> Positions reporting to the P&I Chief are the Accountability/Advance Planning Lead and <br /> Accountability Disaster Call Center(if established), Information Lead, Information Specialist, <br /> Significant Events Specialist, Communication Specialist, CQT Lead and Modeler, and Mapping <br /> Specialist. As necessary, ES&H technical support (radiation protection, industrial hygiene, <br /> biosafety, environmental protection) is provided through this section by SMEs from the ES&H <br /> Directorate. <br /> 2.3.2.4 Administration, Logistics, and Finance Section <br /> This section is managed by the Administration, Logistics, &Finance Chief. <br /> Specialist staff that may be contacted to support Logistics include Information Technology, <br /> Resource/Supplies, Care/Shelter, and Transportation personnel. <br /> Specialist staff that may be contacted to support Finance and Administration include Cost and <br /> Budget, Procurement, Human Resources, Compensation and Claims, and Legal personnel. <br /> 2.3.2.5 EOC Concept of Operations <br /> The LLNL EOC uses the basic SEMS/NIMS concepts for operational period planning (see <br /> Figure 2.5), as well as for obtaining and maintaining situational awareness and disseminating a <br /> common operating picture among the ERO and external partners. <br /> 37 <br />
