They <br /> in turn will notify a company representative. <br /> i <br /> Be prepared to provide the following information when reporting a spill to terminal personnel <br /> First Strike Environmental: <br /> I - Location of Spill <br /> - Reason for Occurrence <br /> - Name of Material Spilled <br /> I Estimate of Amount Spilled <br /> I - Shipper's Name and Address <br /> Distance to nearest stream, river or lake and name of same (if possible). <br /> Any information that would be useful in determining how the spill should be handled. <br /> CLEAN-Up <br /> - The cleaning up of any spill must begin as soon as possible to minimize damage. Once the <br /> spill is contained in a relatively isolated area, begin removal. <br /> - All absorbents used in the clean-up of spilled hazardous materials shall be deposited in <br /> the 55-gallon drum marked Hazardous Material Clean-Up Residue. <br /> - Never deposit contaminated clean up residue in trash dumpsters. <br /> - Depending on the location and the materials spilled, the EPA may require soil <br /> decontamination.
