FXI, Inc. — Lathrop, CA <br /> Subpart B <br /> Requirements for Onshore Petroleum Oils <br /> General Requirements 112.8 40 CFR 112.8(a) <br /> FXI,Inc. will operate in compliance with the requirements of Section 112.7, as outlined in <br /> this SPCC Plan, and the specific discharge, spill prevention and containment procedures listed in <br /> Section 112.8 as set forth below. <br /> Facility Drainage Diked Areas <br /> 40 CFR 112.8(b)(1) and (2) — diked areas <br /> All drainage occurs through designed drainage plan. There is no drainage valve for each <br /> of the oil product containment areas.All storm water is verified to be free of petroleum oil products <br /> before being pumped out of containment. <br /> Facility Drainage Undiked Areas <br /> 40 CFR 112.8(b)(3) and (4) — undiked areas <br /> FXI, Inc. does not utilize undiked areas within their fuel delivery into their oil product <br /> storage tanks. All delivery drivers are certified and trained to control their deliveries and mitigate <br /> any discharge. FXI, Inc. will take responsibility for any and all spills and ensure that the proper <br /> methods for clean-up are addressed. <br /> Bulk Storage Containers 40 CFR 112.8(c)(1) <br /> All of the oil product and fuel storage tanks are constructed of steel. All containers are <br /> made of appropriate materials for storing petroleum and vegetable oil products under the variable <br /> climate temperatures of this region. The tank system is designed not to create additional vacuum <br /> or pressure to the tank, other than the natural expansion and contractions caused by ambient <br /> temperature changes on the product. <br /> Capacity of the Secondary Containment Area 40 CFR 112.8(c)(2) <br /> The secondary containment area must have the capacity to contain the entire volume of the <br /> largest tank. This is addressed within this Plan at 40 CFR 112.7(a)(3)(iii),page 18. The#2 Diesel <br /> tank containment sufficient for holding a fuel release and the oil tanks in the shop will be contained <br /> by the shop walls and flooring. <br /> Procedure to Address Precipitation within Secondary Containment <br /> 40 CFR 112.8(c)(3) <br /> This is addressed in 40 CFR I I2.7(a)(3)(iii),page 17. <br /> Underground Pipe Corrosion Protection <br /> There are no underground tanks or piping on site for the fuel oil products. <br /> 28 <br />
