We encourage all suggestions because we are committed to the success of our Emergency Action Plan.
We strive for clear understanding, safe behavior, and involvement in the program from every level of the
company.
Alarms
Different emergencies call for different alarms to indicate what actions employees should take. White Arrow
has established an employee alarm system. White Arrow uses a hand air horn. We use 3 short blasts to signal
whether or not to evacuate for each emergency. We realize that where alarm signals have similar sounds and are
used for purposes other than to signal evacuation, they can be confused with the fire alarm signal and either be
ignored or cause overreaction. Therefore, we use a distinctive signal for each purpose, including alerting fire
brigade members, if applicable. Fire alarms are located on each floor. We will use the tornado alarm to warn
employees of tornado warnings only.
