We have posted the following emergency telephone numbers near telephones, or emergency notice boards, and <br /> other conspicuous locations for use when telephones serve as a means of reporting emergencies: <br /> Emergency responder: Telephone number: <br /> 911 <br /> Emergency Reporting and Weather Monitoring Procedures <br /> In the Event of an Emergency Requiring Evacuation <br /> When employees detect an emergency that requires an evacuation, such as a fire or hazardous release, they <br /> should meet at the designated Rally Point. The on duty Manager or Supervisor will notify the local Fire <br /> Department. <br /> Our backup method for reporting emergencies that require evacuation includes the following: <br /> Any employee is authorized to report an emergency <br /> In the Event of a Tornado Watch <br /> We monitor tornadoes when the national weather service issues a tornado watch, the safety manager, terminal <br /> manager, or designee will turn on the radio to monitor the national weather service reports. The manager or <br /> designee will use the tornado alarm (5 short blasts of the air horn) to warn employees of the threat of weather <br /> emergencies. He/she will sound the alarm for both watches and warnings.. <br /> Our backup method for monitoring tornadoes includes the following: <br /> • Using vehicle radios to monitor the tornado watch. <br /> Evacuation Procedures <br /> Some emergencies require evacuation or escape procedures, while some require employees to stay indoors, or <br /> in a safe area. Our emergency escape procedures are designed to respond to many potential emergencies, <br /> depending on the degree of seriousness.
