Un -pack system components and inspect for any damaged or missing <br />parts. <br />2). Mount fluid canister to the wall of the sump, using the hardware <br />provided. It should be installed on the wall of the sump, above the fill <br />port, where it will be out of the way of any moving parts. Ensure the <br />hose at the bottom of the canister is long enough to reach the fill port. <br />3). Using Teflon tape, thread in barbed pipe fitting to FRP coupling on the <br />inside of the sump. <br />SYSTEM FILLING: <br />4). Attach pump to the fill port and fill sump until fluid starts to come out of <br />the bleeder hole. <br />5). Quickly remove the pump hose from the barbed fitting in the fill port. <br />Attach 1/4" hose between the pipe fitting and canister. <br />b). Fill the canister until fluid is just below the site glass so that when the <br />sensor is installed, the level is visible. <br />7). Allow 24-hour period for fluid level to settle. Adjust level accordingly. <br />8). Insert and install level monitor according to manufacturer's instructions. <br />SERVICE & MAINTENANCE: <br />9). Periodic inspection of monitor fluid reservoir levels and connection <br />tightness should be performed at least once per year. <br />10). If necessary, re -connect pump and re -fill as required. DO NOT <br />SUBSTITUTE OTHER FLUIDS. <br />Page 14 of 38 <br />
