Quarterly Monitoring Report, BJJ Trucking, Heinz Facility, 757 East Eleventh <br /> Street, Tracy, California <br /> sl <br /> Dear Mr Knoll <br /> During the first quarter 1994, quarterly monitoring and sampling were performed at the above <br /> referenced site (Figure 1) Field activities were conducted on January 5, 1994, and included <br /> measuring depth to water, purging the wells, and collecting groundwater samples from wells <br /> MW2 and MW3 <br /> Groundwater levels were monitored on January 5, 1994 Water levels have not changed <br /> substantially feet since the previous quarterly monitoring event on October 1, 1993 (Table 1) <br /> The gradient cannot be calculated specifically for this site because only two wells are accessible <br /> Monitoring well MW 1 was previously inadvertently destroyed during paving activities <br /> However, RESNA Industries has current monitoring data from the uppermost saturated zone at <br /> two Tracy sites within a one-mile radius of the subject site <br /> The local groundwater gradient can be established using December 22, 1993 monitoring data <br /> from 8181 Eleventh Street (Genstar Western Stone) and October 1993 monitoring data from <br /> 6700 Grantline Road Q B Terminal) The site locations and gradient directions relative to the <br /> subject site are shown on Figure 3 The most recent groundwater gradient map and monitoring <br /> data for each site are included in Attachment 1 Groundwater flow is essentially in a northerly <br /> direction There are no known surface or subsurface occurrences at the BJJ Trucking facility <br />. which would exert a significant influence on the direction of groundwater flow Therefore, even <br /> 1 <br /> 0W01691QUARTLYIIQR-1993 DRF <br />
