In preparation for the sale,Phase I and II <br /> environmental site assessments were conducted by ERM-West,Inc. <br /> A copy of the Phase Il report was provided to San Joaquin County Public Health Services,and we have <br /> met with Mr. Harlin Knoll of the Environmental Health Division. Mr.Knoll intends to manage cleanup <br /> activities as part of the local tank program. We have agreed to submit a work plan for removal of two old <br /> fuel tanks and surrounding soil and water. -The work will be scheduled for early 1998,following closure <br /> of factory operations. <br /> Attached is a copy of the Phase II report for your information.
