Mr HarILn Knoll Environmental
27 January 2000 Resources
Page 3 Management
results are summarized in Tables 1 and 2 (Attachment A) Copies of the
laboratory analytical results and well sampling data are included as
' Attachments B and C, respectively
Evaluation of Results- UST 1
Groundwater sampling results for the current sampling event for wells in
1 the vicinity of former UST I are presented in Table 1 As shown, the
concentration of TPH-g and BTEX compounds in the wells downgradient
of the former tank location (MW-1 and MW-4) are similar to, or less than
those present before ORC injection was performed In well MW-3,
located upgradient of the former tank location, concentrations of these
1 compounds were not, and have never been, detected
Evaluation of Results - UST 2
Groundwater sampling results for the current sampling event for wells in
the vicinity of former UST 2 are presented in Table 2 As shown,
concentrations of TPH-g and BTEX compounds to wells downgradient of
the former tank location (MW-2 and MW-b) are less than those exhibited
before ORC injection was performed The results of this round of
sampling are also consistent with the overall decreasing trend in
chemical concentrations observed at UST 2 since groundwater sampling
was initiated In well MW--5, located upgradient of the former tank
location, concentrations of these compounds were not, and have never
been, detected
EVALUATION OF HISTORICAL GROUNDWATER SAMPLING
' RESULTS
Evaluation of Results - UST 1
At MW-1, chemical concentrations detected during the June,September,
1 and October 1999 sampling events (following ORC injection) were less
than those detected prior to ORC injection The concentrations detected
during each of these sampling events were also relatively stable During
the most recent sampling event, TPH-g and BTEX concentrations
increased to concentrations similar to those detected prior to ORC
injection, but still remain relatively low Overall, the concentrations of
compounds in groundwater at this location have remained low and
