Site Description and Background <br /> This Health and Safety Plan has been written to address the health and safety <br /> provisions that will be instituted during UST removal activities at the Heinz <br /> Plant- Tracy site The site is a produce factory consisting of 73 5 acres, of <br /> which the southern two-thirds is developed with buildings, paved parking <br /> lots, and roadways The northern third is mostly undeveloped land with the <br /> exception of a wastewater pretreatment facility and its access road <br /> Based on information from Heinz personnel, it is likely that two formerly- <br /> used USTs previously contained gasoline and that one tank was <br /> approximately 500 gallons in volume and the other was between 2,000 and <br /> 1 <br />
