Ground <br /> • water.samples were collected from six monitoring wells at the site during <br /> ' this sampling event. The sampling was performed to evaluate the <br /> concentration of chemicals in ground water.at two former underground <br /> storage tank (UST) release.sites following the injection of oxygen <br /> releasing compound (ORC).: <br /> In accordance with the Investigation ResuIts'Report (ERM, 13 April 1999) <br /> (Investigation Report), ERM injected ORC at locations surrounding and <br /> downgradient of each former UST during the week of 7 June 1999. <br /> Figures 1 and 2 (Attachment A) present the locations where ORC <br /> injection was performed. The procedures for performing the ORC <br /> injection are summarized in the Investigation Report: The ground water <br /> samples collected during the 30 June 1999 sampling event were collected <br /> to compare the concentrations of chemicals in ground water before and <br /> after ORC injection. <br /> In accordance with the Investigation Report, the ground water samples <br /> were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TM-g) <br /> (EPA Method 8015),benzene,toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) <br /> (EPA Method 8020), and methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) (EPA <br /> Method.8020).. The ground water sampling results are presented in <br /> Tables 1 and 2 (Attachment B). Copies of the analytical results are <br /> included as Attachment C. <br />
