I wish Advanced GeoEnviron mental, Inc. had
submitted the Soil Vapor Investigation Work Plan in 2009 when first the Environmental Health Department
(EHD)directed by letter dated 10 November 2009, the submittal of an evaluation of the potential for vapor
intrusion into structures at this site that included the need to'collect soil gas samples.
As mentioned in the EHD letter dated 02 February 2012;the Cleanup Fund (CUF) stated by email dated 31
I` January 2012 that the"limited area of soil contamination and the direction of groundwater gradient was unlikely to
create a vapor threat"and that the site should be closed. Since there are-limited reimbursements of Expenses
allotted to sites that have been recommended for closure consideration by the CUF,.additional fieldwork at this
site is not an option. For these reasons, I have denied the, report in GeoTracker. Please proceed with the closure
summary report for this site as directed by the EHD by letter dated 02 February 2012.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
600 East Main Street
Stockton,California 95202
Phone: (209)468-9852
{ Fax: (209)468-3433
Email. v_mccarn eyga sjcehd com_
CY
F
i4
E
4
f
y
1 '
3/2/2012
I
