1419 East Charter Way
log of computer-interpreted soil types to help identify appropriate depths.to collect depth-discrete
soil samples from an adjacent borehole at depths between 50 and 175 feet bgs, and depth-discrete
grab groundwater samples from individual soil borings advanced adjacent to the CPT boring.
Selected soil and groundwater samples will be analyzed for the same analyses mentioned above.
The following information is needed for EHD to evaluate the proposed advancement of three soil
borings to be completed as ozone sparging points screened between 48 and 50 feet bgs:
+ How many pounds of ozone are currently being injected daily?
• Would the ozone generator system be upgraded to accommodate the three new sparge
points?
• Provide hours and percentage of time the ozone system is operational in quarterly
groundwater monitoring reports.
AGE proposes to survey the newly installed monitoring wells relative to a City of Stockton
elevation benchmark and provide well elevation and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) locations.
The State of California — State and Consumer Services Agency on behalf of the California Board
for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors as to the use of licensed professionals for collection
of GeoTracker XY&Z data has stated that the collection of information related to the exact location
of groundwater wells, required by Title 12, California Code of Regulations 2729-2729.1;
constitutes "land surveying," as the term is defined in section 8726 of the Business and Profession
Code and the collection of data is restricted to those who are licensed to practice land
surveying in California. Among the statutory exemptions are registered geologists or others
persons authorized to practice geology, such as licensed civil and petroleum engineers. EHD
f ssional curve all the monitoring wells
recommends that you have a properly qualified pro e y g
associated with your site and submit the data to GeoTracker and the EHD.
Please respond by February 29, 2008, to EHD's recommendation for relocating the proposed CPT
boring and provide the ozone operating system information. Submit a well permit application and.
s
permit/inspection fee of$383 and access agreement, if necessay, to EHD by February 29, 2008,
for the installation of two monitoring wells and complete the fieldwork by March 31, 2008.
