13 May 2004 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 03-1100 <br />' Page 3 of 4 <br /> Y <br />' 3 2 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> TPH-g was only detected in ground water samples collected from well MW-2 at a concentration of <br />' 200,000 micrograms per liter(�tg/l) BTEX compounds were only detected in ground water sample <br /> collected from well MW-2 at maximum concentrations of 2,000 gg/l (benzene), 14,000 ug/l <br /> I (toluene), 4,000 µg/l (ethylbenzene) and 21,600 ptg/l (total xylenes), respectively <br /> 1,2-DCA was detected in ground water samples collected from wells MW-2 and MW-3 at <br />' concentrations of 14 gg/1 and 61 gg/l,respectively MTBE was not detected in ground water samples <br /> collected from any of the analyzed samples No other constituents of concern were detected in the <br /> ground water analyses at or above laboratory detection limits <br />' Analytical results of water samples collected during March 2004 are summarized on Table 2 The <br /> laboratory report (CTEL Lab Project Number 214-0403031), QA/QC report and chain-of-custody <br />' form are included in Appendix B <br /> t4.0 SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS <br /> IBased on the findings from this investigation, AGE concludes <br /> • The ground water elevations on-site ranged from 42 53 to 43 99 feet below MSL Ground <br />' water flow was inferred to be flowing inwards towards an elongated depression in the former <br /> UST location under 9 gradient of 0 03 feet/feet or less <br /> t , <br /> • TPH-g was detected in samples collected from well MW-2 at a concentration of <br />' 200,000 µg/l <br /> • 1,2-DCA was detected iii ground water samples collected from wells MW-2 and MW-3 at <br /> I a maximum concentration of 61 µg11 in MW-3 MTBE was not detected at or above <br /> laboratory reporting limits in any of the analyzed ground water samples <br /> • The lateral extent of TPH-g impacted ground water has been defined to the northwest, west <br />' and southwest of the former UST area, but not toward the east <br /> • The vertical extent of petroleum hydrocarbon contamination has not be defined in the former <br /> UST location <br /> IAdvanced CeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
