H. Kleinfelder & Associates is pleased to
present this proposal for conducting a soil and groundwater investigation at the
Roberts Oil Company facility in Lodi, California. This proposal incorporates the
results of our previous investigation conducted on May 15, 1985, our discussion and
site visit of June 21, 1985, comments received from the San Joaquin Health
Department's representative, and our experience with environmental investigations.
The investigation is designed to identify potential sources of the petroleum
product found in groundwater, describe the nature and extent of soil and groundwater
contamination and present remedial alternatives. We will emphasize developing the
most cost-effective and timely solution to the findings as our primary objective.
The following outlines our technical approach. Cost estimates for the
investigation and potential range of costs for a possible remedial solution is presented
as a separate addendum to this proposal.
OTHER OFFICES
Walnut Creek - San Ramon - Sacramento - Fresno - Fairfield • Merced - Rohnert Park - I pis >m d.
