Ll <br /> 0 <br /> fSKTH <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES CORPOAATIO I <br /> January 13, 1997 <br /> 94331 <br /> Ms Margaret Lagono <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 388 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> Site Status Report <br /> October through December 1996 <br /> Holt Bros <br /> 1521 West Charter Way <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Site Code 1988 <br /> Dear Ms Lagorio <br /> Tlus letter report will serve to document monitoring and sampling activities from October through <br /> December 1996 at the subject site (Figure 1) Groundwater monitoring and sampling was <br /> conducted on December 6, 1996 Activities included monitoring fluid level elevations in the six <br /> groundwater monitoring wells, and sampling six groundwater monitoring wells for analysis of <br /> dissolved hydrocarbons and halogenated volatile organic compounds <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING AND SAMPLING <br /> Smith Technology Corporation personnel performed groundwater monitoring and sampling on <br /> December 6, 1996 Field work consisted of measuring depth to fluid levels and subjectively <br /> analyzing the water from wells MW 1R, MW2, MW3, MW4, MW5R2, and MW6 for the presence <br /> of sheen or floating product Well locations are shown on Figure 2 The depths-to-groundwater <br /> in the wells ranged from 16 46 to 18 88 feet below the top of the well casings, an average <br /> decrease in the water level of approximately 0 16 feet since the last monitoring event in July 1996 <br /> Groundwater monitoring data since December 1990 are summarized in Table 1 <br /> A potentiometric surface map for the December 6, 1996 monitoring event is presented on Figure <br /> 2 Groundwater beneath the site generally flows to the south-southwest at an average gradient of <br /> 0 006 feet per feet (approximately 31 7 feet per mile) A slight depression is seen In the vicinity of <br /> MW2 and MW3 Historically, groundwater elevation data has suggested an irregular <br /> w\943311quartiyAgr-1996 doc 1 <br /> 1260 Graphics Drive Modesto,CA 95351-1502 (209)579-2221 Fax(209)579-2225 <br /> Engineering - Consulting - Remediation Construction <br />
