�, 23 June 1998 <br /> AGE-NC Project No. 97-0349 <br /> Page 4 of 5 - <br /> Five domestic ground water wells, owned and operated by:the California Water Service were. <br /> discovered within the search range north of the site. Six domestic water wells were discovered south <br /> of the site in the search area. <br /> Three ground water monitoring wells are located on,the site in*accordance with a Cleanup and <br /> Abatement order from the Central Valley.Regional Water Quality.Control Board'L Ground water <br /> depths on the site are 50 feet bsg. Wells from the California Water Resources were located on <br /> FCD&WCD maps in the area,however, their exact locations were not verifiable, <br /> 4.0. FINDINGS ; <br /> 4.1. STRATIGRAPHY AND DEPTH TO GROUND WATER <br /> • Tan and brown, silty clay was encountered in the probe boring from approximately 10 feet bsg to <br /> 30 feet bsg: Tan silty sand was encountered in the probe boring from approximately 30 feet bsg to <br /> 35 feet bsg. Red-brown silty clay was encountered in the boring from 3.5 to.40 feet bsg. Tan and <br /> brown silty clay was encountered from approximately 40 feet bsg to 55 feet bsg. Ground water was <br /> tow encountered at an approximate depth of 59 feet bsg and a sample was cgllected at 60 to 64 feet bsg.:_ <br /> Soil boring logs are depicted in Appendix A., <br /> Lw� <br /> 4.2. HYDROCARBON-IMPACTED SOIL <br /> Petroleum hydrocarbons were not detected in soil below the UST at depths of 15 and 20 feet bsg <br /> nor at 50 feet bsg. The laboratory report(MAI Laboratory ID 80089 to 80091), QA/QC reports and. <br /> chain-of-custody forms are included in Appendix B., <br /> 4.3. HYDROCARBON=IMPACTED GROUND WATER <br /> TPH-d was detected in the water sample collected from probe boring PB I at concentrations of 0.69 <br /> parts per billion -(ppb, reported as micrograms per liter).
