In July 2001, your consultant, Geomatrix Consultants Inc. (Geomatrix) <br /> installed a network of seven temporary monitoring wells on the property adjacent to and <br /> downgradient of the site(Bridgeport). Bridgeport is being developed as a residential <br /> subdivision, and the temporary monitoring wells were installed to assist in establishing a <br /> long-term monitoring network in the Bridgeport Trails subdivision to supplement the <br /> existing monitoring well network at the Oxychem site and on the Bridgeport property. <br /> On 30 January 2002, Geomatrix submitted the letter work plan Proposed Long Term <br /> Groundwater Monitoring System (Well Work Plan) specifing wells to convert into <br /> permanent monitoring wells and which ones to abandon in the Bridgeport development. <br /> We have reviewed the Well Work Plan and the following monitoring reports prepared by <br /> Geomatrix: <br /> • October 2001 Second Trimester 2001 Monitoring Report(2nd MR) <br /> • October 2001 Limited Additional Groundwater Assessment Bridgeport Trails <br /> Development(Bridgeport MR) <br /> • February 2002 Third Trimester 2001 Monitoring Report(3rd MR) <br /> The Bridgeport MR presents monitoring data from the seven temporary monitoring wells <br /> obtained during the second trimester monitoring event.
