In 2008, the <br /> annual ground water monitoring event was performed during the first quarter. The 2009 <br /> annual ground water monitoring event would be scheduled for 15 December 2009. <br /> • Sampling of wells MW-8,MW-9, and MW-14 during the first quarter 2009.AGE believes <br /> sampling wells MW-8,MW-9 and MW-14 will be adequate to determine whether petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon concentrations have rebounded since termination of the ozone injection system <br /> at the site. The first quarter 2009 ground water monitoring event is scheduled for 30 March <br /> 2009.Recommendations for second quarter 2009 monitoring and sampling will be included <br /> in Quarterly Report-First Quarter 2009. <br /> • Rescheduling of off-site remediation activities. The AGE-prepared In-situ Chemical <br /> Oxidation Pilot Study, dated 10 December 2008,was approved by the CVRWQCB on 31 <br /> December 2008.We request delaying the implementation of the pilot study until the fourth <br /> quarter 2009. AGE will begin procuring necessary permits and access agreements for the <br /> pilot study during the third quarter 2009.
