CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> WAIVING WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS <br /> FOR <br /> GEWEKE LAND DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING COMPANY (� <br /> GEWEKE CAR CAPITAL II�� <br /> 16 SOUTH CHEROKEE LANE,,—LODI <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> WHEREAS, Geweke Land Development and Marketing Company (hereafter <br /> Discharger) submitted a Report of Waste Discharge on 5 October 1993, and additional <br /> information on 8 November 1993; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Discharger is proposing to conduct in-situ bioremediation to clean up <br /> soil and ground water contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons at Geweke Car Capital, 16 <br /> South Cherokee Lane, Lodi, San Joaquin County; and <br /> WHEREAS, the bioremediation project involves inoculating monitoring wells at the <br /> site with soil bacteria, water, and air; and Q <br /> WHEREAS, no nutrient (e.g. nitrogen) additions are proposed; and <br /> WHEREAS, the action to waive waste discharge requirements for this project is <br /> exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act in accordance with <br /> Title 14, California Code of Regulations, Section 15304. <br /> WHEREAS, Section 13269 of the California Water Code provides that waste <br /> discharge requirements may be waived; and <br /> WHEREAS, waiving requirements for th Discharger is not against the public interest <br /> because it avoids unnecessary expenditures of Board resources and because this waiver is <br /> conditional and may be terminated at any time; and 777 <br /> WHEREAS, the Board on 28 January 1994, held a hearing in Lakeport, California, <br /> and considered all evidence concerning the matter: Therefore, be it <br /> RESOLVED, that the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central <br /> Valley Region, hereby waives waste discharge requirements for Geweke Land Development <br /> Company conditioned on: <br />
