Cherokee <br /> Lodi, CA 95241 <br /> We have reviewed the July 1, 1991 Progress Report and the proposed groundwater monitoring plan. Review <br /> and comments on the July 31, 1991 Problem Assessment Report will be under separate cover in order to <br /> expedite the sampling event and subsequent quarterly report. <br /> The proposal to quarterly monitor the five perimeter wells (MW6, MW10, MW11, MW12, and MW13) is <br /> acceptable. In addition to these wells, please monitor, quarterly, MW4 and MW2 or MW7. All wells <br /> associated with the site will be monitored annually. <br /> The reports should show the following: <br /> -status of investigation and cleanup activities including the results of all investigations <br /> completed to date; <br /> -proposed continuing or next phase of investigation; <br /> -method of cleanup proposed or implemented, schedules for the completion of the <br /> investigation of the site and remediation; <br /> -method and location of disposal of the released hazardous substance and any contaminated <br /> soil, groundwater or surface water; <br /> -manifest required for transport of hazardous substances; <br /> -monitoring well data including groundwater elevation, pH, conductivity, gradient; <br /> -analytical results of groundwater or soil sampling; and <br /> -site map showing the "zero line" of contamination, if known, and changes in the above <br /> measurements over the last quarter. <br /> The fust quarterly report should be prepared immediately and submitted no later than September 16, 1991. <br /> If you have any questions, contact Eleanor Ratliff, RENS, at (209)468-3454. <br /> Jogi Khanna„M.I , M.P.H. <br /> Health Office <br /> carie A.
